ANALYZING ADVERTISMENTS

1) This advertisement is advertising something called the picturephone.

2) This advert is mostly aimed at adults, and there is a higher chance of ladies buying it.

3) This picture is showing that a lady is calling someone.

4) I personally wouldn't buys this because now everyone has phones and everyone has skype. If it was in the olden times  I would buy it because at that time they didn't have phones.

Now I have learnt the techniques for advertising and it was interesting to learn about it

I learnt a lot of new ways the people advertise playing this game.

 It was interesting and challenging to play, and it was also fun. I learnt that the more you play the more you learn and the harder the level gets. I also learnt about what advertisers do to make their product popular.

I learned a lot about ad techniques today. I learned association, call to action, claim, games and
activities, humor, hype, must have, fear, prizes, and repetition.

Reflection:

The company is responsible for the ad. I know that the ''Slip 'N Slide'' is targeted at kids because in the picture it shows that some kids playing on top of it and sliding. I think that the ad technique they used in this is games and activities. This ad says that you and your friend will have fun. This says that the people who buy this will have a nice time.

I am talking about breast cancer because thousands of women die each year, and a lot of these are moms of children. Breast cancer is cancer that develops from breast tissues. Breast cancer rarely happens for women under forty. 1020 people who are 40 or younger died because of breast cancer 11970 people who were 50- 64 died the same year. 22,870 people who were 65+ aged people also died that same year in (2013) in America. This happens a lot of times a year, and if you don't notice it soon you can die. At early stages you need to do screening. There rarely are any breast cancer survivors. But you can save your own lives if you go to the doctor and find out at the first stage. If you don’t find out soon and you have reached the last stage there will be a higher possibility of people dying. Not a lot of people were diagnosed. 1 in 8 women in the US will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. Signs of breast cancer may include a lump in your breast, a change in the shape of your breast, indentation of the skin, fluid/ liquid coming from the nipple, or a red scaly patch of skin. The lump would feel like a lemon seed, and its immovable.

Some of the ways people get breast cancer include:

·        Increasing age

·        It happens in your family

·        When you don’t exercise much

·        And too much alcohol consumption

Reflection:

Today I learnt a lot about how to make an advertisement and how to plan it out. I also learnt a lot of new advertisement techniques.
