Term 1 Design 2016- 2017

My name is Divya and these are the things I learnt. Last year I learnt how to use canva, pictochart which was used to make posters I also learned how to use flaming text for our exhibition logo and print out work, and definitely it was fun learning something new. We had to learn it so we can get good marks and make people come to our posters. I also have learnt how to use Microsoft word and publisher but, I didn’t learn that last year, I learnt it way before because in primary we had to use Microsoft word almost every lesson. We have to use these websites to practice and learn. I also do play games on my computer but that is rare and I use my computer mainly to research for important information so I can put it on Microsoft word and print it. I learnt many new things about Microsoft Word like how to put a text box, change the font, underline it, and a lot of other things. I also learnt how to use a website to make videos called powtoon (we had to use that quiet a lot that year so I know how to use it) and, it makes animated videos for people at all ages.

Reflection for the design cycle:
To create my MYP design cycle I used shapes in Microsoft word. I found out that there are many other tools I could use other than shapes, for example I could have used smart art, pictures and clipart. If I had to do it again I will use clipart  and I will put pictures instead of writing in small boxes.

Reflection for second MYP Design cycle: 

I used microsoft word to make my MYP design cycle. I used shapes and pictures to crate my MYP design cycle. I learned how to find specific pictures for specific words. If I had to do this again I would use a different app so I will have more options to make my MYP design cycle.

Reflection for S.M.A.R.T Goal;
I created my s.m.a.r.t goal sheet by getting a design for the border from the internet (reference is at the bottom) and I typed everything in and for the lines for the answers I underlined it so it will look like I have put a line. For this I used microsoft word. When I was doing this project I learned that you can do a lot of different things with microsoft word. If I have to do this again i will try to find a way to make it look more interesting and find new ways to make it.
